11TH HOUR RACING TEAM<\/strong> announced that the team is building a new IMOCA 60<\/a>, designed by French architect Guillaume Verdier and built by CDK Technologies under the supervision of MerConcept, partner of the American team for the technical and performance aspects.<\/div>\n
\nTHE GLOBE40<\/strong>\u00a0should muster about\u00a020 crews for its first edition<\/a>\u00a0(starting in June 2021 from Tangier) including\u00a0Kito de Pavant<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Gwen Bick<\/strong>\u00a0and by the Spaniard\u00a0Guillermo Altadill<\/strong>, accompanied by Portuguese\u00a0Felipe Silva<\/strong>, who have just announced their participation.<\/p>\n

LA LE HAVRE ALLMER CUP<\/strong>, last round of the French Elite Championship offshore race which was to be held from 10 to 18 October,\u00a0was canceled<\/strong>\u00a0due to “too few participants”, the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des R\u00e9gates du Havre announced Friday.<\/p>\n

THE CONGRESSIONAL CUP 2021<\/strong>, which is once again part of the World Match Racing Tour,\u00a0will take place from May 16 to 21<\/a>\u00a02021 on identical Catalina 37 footers.<\/p>\n

LAUNCHES<\/strong><\/p>\n

WORLD SAILING<\/strong>\u00a0announced the launch in 2021 of a sailing festival dedicated to women and girls, called\u00a0Steering the Course<\/a>, which will take place from May 21 to 31 in the Northern Hemisphere and from October 1 to 10 in the southern hemisphere.<\/p>\n

DOYLE SAILS<\/strong>\u00a0have announced\u00a0the launch of two new lofts<\/a>\u00a0in Germany, one in the North, the other in Bavaria.<\/div>\n
