ANNOUCEMENTS & PARTNERSHIPS<\/span><\/h2>\n

BORIS HERRMANN<\/strong>\u00a0announced on Wednesday that\u00a0he will return<\/a>\u00a0to the\u00a0Vend\u00e9e Globe in 2024<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0a new boat, a VPLP design<\/strong>, the build of which is about to begin at Multiplast, and on board which he will also participate in The Ocean Race 2022-2023. This new Imoca will carry the colours of the Yacht Club of Monaco and the Prince Albert of Monaco Foundation. The former Seaexplorer-Yacht Club de Monaco was bought by\u00a0ROMAIN ATTANASIO<\/strong> who has a new co-partner<\/a>, Fortinet<\/strong>, alongside Best Western Hotels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

DAMIEN SEGUIN<\/strong>\u00a0and his partner\u00a0APICIL<\/strong> also announced their intention to “continue their commitment”<\/a>\u00a0until the Vend\u00e9e Globe 2024, and “are considering the acquisition of a new foilingboat”, for which they are looking for a co-sponsor.<\/p>\n

PIP HARE<\/strong>\u00a0has confirmed\u00a0the ongoing support<\/a>\u00a0of her sponsors San Francisco based software company Medallia into the\u00a02024 Vendee Globe<\/strong>. She has taken on Louis Burton’s Bureau Vallee 2 and from 2022 onwards will compete on all of the main IMOCA Globe Series events.<\/p>\n

ALEX THOMSON<\/strong>\u00a0has not yet commented on the Vend\u00e9e\u00a0Globe but has\u00a0confirmed his return to racing<\/a>\u00a0on Hugo Boss\u00a0(which has just been relaunched) in the next Fastnet in August.<\/p>\n
